This year, votes for Head Learner were so tight that four pupils were elected; two from Year 5 and two from Year 6.
Their speeches demonstrated their passion for the school, their beliefs and values around education and what school should feel like as an experience for all. Therefore, in across the four chosen children, there were four clear roles that fitted them perfectly:
Ishaan – Learning & Ambition
Jessica – Play & Fairness
Thomas – Equality & Respect
Ffion – Diversity & Inclusivity
More children than last year applied, and the quality and calibre of the applications was so well aligned with the ethos and values of the school. A big thank you and well done to all the children who wrote in to put themselves forward for the role of Head Learner this year!
