Geography

Geography is taught and studied across the school through our half termly topics.

Within Geography lessons throughout the school, children will study the subject through use of questioning, observation and investigation, using a range of primary and secondary sources. They will develop their map and compass knowledge as well as creating their own maps using developed skills. They will also develop confidence and understanding of a wide variety of information sources that can assist them within their investigations and studies.

As well as looking at Geography within our own country and around the world, and developing our Geography skills here at Trinity Road Primary School, we also feel it is very important for children to undertake field work and experience places of different geographical interest. Our curriculum is designed to provide exciting opportunities for children to do this throughout their time with us.
